What does the AI assistant do?

The AI Assistant is your on-demand HVAC expert. Ask it questions, request data analysis, or have it build graphs — all in a conversational chat.

Two ways to use it:

With data (checkbox on): Select a date range and the AI will load all sensor readings, run its own analysis code, and give you a detailed diagnostic.
Without data (checkbox off): The AI uses the unit's live readings, alarm info, and its memory of past analyses to answer questions quickly — no data upload needed.

Graphs: Ask the AI to build you a graph and it will suggest one. Click "Build Graph" to add it to the equipment view.

Follow-up questions: Keep chatting after any response. The AI remembers the full conversation so you can dig deeper.

Unit history: The AI keeps notes about each unit across sessions, so recurring issues and past findings carry forward automatically.

AI is experimental and can make mistakes. Always verify findings with on-site inspection.

Granularity Information

When Average, Min or Max are selected, the number of data points loaded per day is reduced to improve performance.

If more than one data point corresponds to a single displayed point, Connect selects one to show based on the chosen display option:

All DataDisplays every point exactly. When displaying multiple points across a large date range, consider a different selection for load time improvements.

Average (Fast)An average of all points within the point that is displayed.

Min (Fast)The lowest value of all points within the point that is displayed.

Max (Fast)The highest value of all points within the point that is displayed.
